The ever popular Sri Lankan kitchen is back.

Sri-Lankan cuisine is very different from many types of Indian food.  It is a cuisine that is not commonly understood or cooked in the UK and is much fresher and lighter than some curries we are used to here.  Explore the vast array of beautiful vegetable and fish curries that Sri Lankan cuisine has to offer.  Being from an island Sri Lankans have traditionally relied on fresh fruit, vegetables and fish to make up their diet.  Less meat and more vegetables is largely regarded as a healthier way to eat and this course will definitely liven and spice up your dinner table and give you more ideas about how to reduce your meat intake.

Romilla was born in Sri-Lanka and found her love of cooking both English and Sri-Lankan food from her mother, also a keen cook and advocate of home cooking, later inspiring Romilla to write cookbooks (What's for Dinner? and What's for Dinner? Second Helpings) and start the Food Education to promote the same ethos to educational establishments.
