Malted Sandwich Tin Loaf
The sandwich tin loaf is part of our traditional range.
Before the appearance of mass produced factory tin-ware household bread was baked in earthenware crocks or hand moulded. The earliest reference to a tin loaf was in 1807 and with the development of new ovens in the early 1900s the tin loaf became a quicker and easier way to produce bread in the home. We do the ‘trio’ white, wholemeal and malted and needless to say they are all very good for sandwiches.
All orders for freshly baked bread will need to be made by 4pm (Monday to Friday) to guarantee next day delivery. If you would like to purchase bread to be delivered on a Monday you would need to order this on the Friday before by 4pm.
To ensure that we are able to process your order effectively please state the location for collection and day of delivery using the drop down menu or the special instructions field when required.
Please note that all breads will be delivered on the date requested and will be available for collection during the stated stores opening hours. The only exception to this will be Houghton Lodge Gardens where bread will be available for collection from midday on the date stated.
