Malted Farmhouse Tin Loaf
The farmhouse tin loaf is part of our traditional range.
The farmhouse loaf originated as a wholemeal loaf in the 1870s and 1880s as a ‘health’ reaction to the increasing popularity of the white loaf. Even then medical writers and dieticians were lamenting the decline in the nutritional quality of over processed white bread flour. Now it is made with white, wholemeal and malted flour. It is super for ‘beans on toast’.
All orders for freshly baked bread will need to be made by 4pm (Monday to Friday) to guarantee next day delivery. If you would like to purchase bread to be delivered on a Monday you would need to order this on the Friday before by 4pm.
