Join Colline for a 3 hour macaron masterclass where you will learn how to make macarons from start to finish using the French Meringue method. A macaron (not to be confused with a macaroon) is a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and colouring. The macaron commonly consists of a ganache, buttercream or jam filling, sandwiched between two cookies. The name is derived from the Italian word macarone, maccarone or maccherone, the meringue. They are a perfect for any celebration being both a delicious mouthsize morsel and stunning to look at.

On this course you will learn about each step from creating the batter, to piping and finally assembling with the fillings you have created. This will be a fun, informative and hands-on workshop, allowing all participants to create their own batch of delicious macarons. You will leave with plenty to share between you and your friends, providing you haven't popped them all in your mouth before you leave!
