Eating Up Italy with Mariella Bliss: A Two Day Autumnal Feast

Course Date: 08/11/2018

This course includes lunch

Thursday 8th and Friday 9th November 2018

10.00 am - 2.30 pm

Honesty Cookery School is delighted to welcome back Mariella Bliss with a two day tour of Italy, sharing the autumnal flavours of her homeland. Born and brought up in Naples, she returns with her usual her Italian warmth and enthusiasm.

This course offers a wonderful opportunity to discover the art of cooking authentic Italian dishes whose flavours benefit from an overnight preparation. Among other dishes you will learn the art of producing a true Neapolitan meat ragu, Pugliese Bread and the much sought after panetonne, rarely taught on a cookery course due its long preparation time. Along the way Mariella will reveal the secret to getting the best out of seasonal ingredients, from the humble Puglese broccoli, globe artichokes, zucco mantovana to luxurious truffles, Piedmont hazelnuts and fermented grapes.

This is a true gastronomical journey for Italian food lovers!

If you are coming from further afield, you could book yourself a room at our gastro pub, The Crown and Garter at Inkpen (01488 668325) To get a preferential rate, state that you are on a two day course at Honesty Cookery School. Please note, you will need to book as soon as possible, as rooms get booked out very quickly.
