A yoga and cookery class.

Kate Butler and Sasi Krishnan are teaming up to offer a wholesome day of delights.  You will start off with a dynamic vinyasa flow yoga practice followed by a light, vegetarian South Indian cookery class which will be served as lunch.

Kate brings a unique perspective to those who seek more from yoga than a series of exercises. Students will be encouraged to move mindfully onto their bodies through postures, focus, meditation and breath work. The one hour class will be a dynamic vinyasa flow with a theme drawn from the theory of yoga. Kate is a firm but compassionate teacher and students will feel worked and fully stretched after the class. The session is for those who have a regular practice. Head massages are offered during shavasana.

Sasi Krishanan will teach the vegetarian Southern Indian cookery class. The cuisine of Southern India is known for its light, appetising dishes. Ingredients like mustard seeds, dhal, hing (asafoetida), turmeric, black pepper and curry leaves are used to give a perfect blend of flavour, colour and taste.  South Indian dishes are not just delicious but easily digestible.

Please wear suitable clothing - either activewear or loose clothing.

For the cookery class, all recipes, ingredients, equipment and aprons are provided.

10 people maximum in the class.
