Sasi returns to the school for a class on Southern Indian cuisine.  The cuisine of South India is known for its light, appetising dishes. Ingredients like mustard seeds, dhal, hing (asafoetida), turmeric, black pepper and curry leaves are used to give a perfect blend of flavour, colour and taste.  South Indian dishes are not just delicious but easily digestible.

This course will include:

  • Village style chicken curry - This simple chicken curry is a delicacy from Tamilnadu.  Made with fresh ingredients and spices , it is very aromatic, and serves as a great starter, an accompaniment or as a main dish.
  • Masala egg and green pepper stir fry - a flavoursome dish made with hard boiled eggs, green pepper and onion, which can be served as a starter or eaten on its own.
  • Jeera rice - a simple steamed rice using cumin seeds and fragrant spices that pairs well with all curries.
  • Kosambari - a fresh cucumber and lentil salad.  

Max 8 people.  Suitable for all abilities.
