16th July 2019

10.00 am - 2.00 pm

Peter Hertzmann's mission is simple - to make as many people as possible realise that if you can manage 50 ways of cooking one simple ingredient - the carrot - you can cook almost any dish, and cook it to perfection. Understanding the science behind cooking methods offers a confidence and freedom to your cookery.

During his course Peter will be demonstrating three cooking methods from his new book: 50 Ways to Cook a Carrot.  With a good balance of demonstration and time to talk, question and taste, this course promises to be both a relaxing and informative experience.  There will also be opportunities to join him in cooking lunch for the group. Peter's approach is suitable for both novice cooks and those with many years’ experience and is guaranteed to provide 'light bulb' moments for both.

Peter Hertzmann is a passionate cook, and educator on food cooking, with years of teaching to his name.  He lives in the USA and is a regular contributor to the Oxford Symposium on Food. His latest book '50 Ways to Cook a Carrot' will be available for purchase at the end of the course.

All abilities welcome.
